Hookworm dual compound (BLACK/WHITE & ORANGE/GREY)

Dual Compound technology has taken the HookWorm tread pattern to the next level. Maxxis has hand crafted the outer (white/orange) edges of the tread pattern in a soft, sticky compound for optimal cornering and vert. ramp performance. The inner (black/grey) tread is a harder compound that rolls fast and wears long. By utilising two distinct rubber compounds, Maxxis has taken full advantage of the handling characteristics of each individual section of the tread pattern.
