CAMPAGNOLO SUPER RECORD 13 REAR DERAILLEUR
The new Super Record 13 rear derailleur, completely redesigned for this generation, redefines the standards of shifting for road bikes. Optimized to guarantee absolute smoothness and instantaneous transition between gears even under stress, it uses a new, optimized gear path that enhances its efficiency along the entire sprocket range. The result is faster shifting than any 12-speed system currently available, despite the addition of an extra sprocket.
The new architecture of the rear derailleur with optimised positioning under the sprocket cassette, contributes to minimal aesthetics, improves aerodynamics and ensures impeccable alignment between pulleys and gears. The result is quieter, more precise and reliable gear shifting, even on the most uneven terrain.
The two 14-tooth pulleys have a differentiated profile that has been optimized to accompany the chain in every pedalling phase. The upper pulley contains ceramic bearings for extreme smoothness and zero friction, while the lower pulley guarantees solidity and durability over time. The housing is compatible with sprocket cassettes starting from 10 or 11 teeth up to a maximum of 36, offering a wide range of ratios suitable for every type of route and pedalling style.
The assembly options available: directly mounted using a Campagnolo UDH dropout or classic link for traditional frames and compatible with direct mount dropout. The rear derailleur is powered by a (removable) battery with a range of up to 750 km. Recharging is ultra-fast: it takes just 60 minutes to reach 100% capacity. The charging level can be easily monitored via the integrated LED, the MyCampy app or directly on the bike computer. The USB-C connector ensures maximum compatibility with modern recharging devices, including smartphones, which can be used as a power bank in emergency situations.
The design also reflects Campagnolo excellence: the internal housing and the front part are made of carbon with a direct mould finish, while the aluminium components are anodized after laser engraving. Even the branding applied to the derailleur demonstrates all of the brand’s know-how in processing and enhancing materials and in the search for minimal aesthetics and design.
